1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at ajeinsure.cc (the "Website"), operated by Ajé Intelligent InsurTech, a Meliorem Consulting venture based in Lagos, Nigeria ("Ajé", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. About Ajé

Ajé is an operating platform for health insurers, live in Nigeria and built for health insurers across Africa. The Website describes our platform, our approach, and how to get in touch. It is provided for general information about our business.

3. The platform is governed by a separate agreement

Access to and use of the Ajé platform and services by a customer is governed by a separate written agreement between that customer and us. Nothing on the Website forms part of that agreement or creates any right to use the platform. In the event of any conflict, the separate written agreement prevails over these Terms in respect of the platform.

4. Using the Website

You may use the Website for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • use the Website in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Website or its underlying systems;
  • introduce malicious code, or use automated means to scrape or harvest content or personal data;
  • copy, reproduce, or redistribute Website content except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law; or
  • misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation when contacting us.

5. Intellectual property

The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and the "Ajé" name and marks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Website for your own informational use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Information you submit

When you submit a demo request or otherwise contact us through the Website, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it. We use that information to respond to you and to arrange a working session, as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree that we may contact you using the details you provide.

7. Informational content and forward-looking statements

The Website describes our platform, its capabilities, and our plans, including our intention to expand to health insurers across Africa. Descriptions of capabilities and future plans are provided for information, may change, and are not a promise, warranty, or guarantee of any specific outcome, result, or availability. Any illustrative figures shown on the Website are examples only and do not represent the performance of any particular customer.

8. Third-party links and services

The Website may reference or link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and a reference to them is not an endorsement.

9. Disclaimers

The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and nothing on the Website constitutes legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Website or your breach of these Terms.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data in connection with the Website is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, without affecting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
